Contracts Coordinator

**Job Description**:
Reporting to the Regional Manager, Contract Policy and Standards (CP&S), the Contracts Coordinator monitors requests for contracts ensuring compliance with policy and informs VIHA staff of requirements. The Coordinator updates the contract database records including: controlling access; ensuring accuracy of data; training and supporting VIHA-wide staff on its use; and trouble shooting system problems. The Coordinator oversees CP&S Intranet site and SharePoint sites maintaining content and permissions.

Primary working relationships are with Operational Program Managers and Coordinators, and Finance Staff across the Region.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
**Education, Training And Experience**:
A level of education, training and experience equivalent to a two year post-secondary program in administrative or financial management.

**Skills And Abilities**:

- Post-secondary training in office automation systems and personal training in a computing environment.
- Five (5) years' related experience in office management with a demonstrated ability to use advanced features of MS Word, Excel, Access and Project.
- Experience in design and creation of web based documents and services.
- Finance.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to function effectively within a team environment.
- Good understanding of contract policies, principles and procedures.
- Ability to create and maintain Internet sites and SharePoint sites.
- Ability to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with customers.
- Strong verbal, written and presentation skills.
- Extensive knowledge of PC desktop software products, demonstrated knowledge and ability to act as a resource person for desktop software products and web based documents and services.
- Strong data base skills including proficient use of MS Access.
- Ability to take direction as well as to work independently with frequent changes in workload.
- Good judgment, analytical and problem solving skills.
