Toronto, Canada Altitude Athletic Training Full time

Altitude Athletic Training is a specialized fitness facility with one of the largest altitude training rooms in the world and state-of-the-art tech. We cater towards highly motivated members who are driven to succeed. By providing a top-notch experience for members and visitors, we strive to help everyone achieve their goals while fostering a sense of community and mutual respect at Altitude.

**Tasks and Responsibilities**
- Front Desk Duties:_
- Follow a list of opening and closing duties to facilitate an easy, streamlined experience for members right when the gym opens to when it closes
- Greet clients in a friendly manner
- Conduct tours to prospective clients and walk-ins
- Help new clients sign up and sign in through a very detailed process
- Answer questions related to billing and cancellation policies
- Ensure that all borrowed wearables are returned
- Ensure the safety of all members in general areas
- Show members how to access fitness programs on the training app, log-in to fitness equipment, track heart rate and connect to training apps include Polar Beat and Zwift
- Assist with fitness assessment set-up and fitness assessment device cleaning
- Keep bathrooms and locker area clean, stocked and organized
- Ensure the front desk area and social spaces are clean and orderly
- Participate in regular facility cleaning and upkeep such as mopping up spills, cleaning countertops, folding towels and removing trash
- Facilitate all member requests and help to resolve any member concerns in a professional, objective manner with the goal of resolution.
- Proactively develop and manage client relationships, ensuring that expected service levels are achieved.
- Sell the appropriate Altitude Athletic Training products and services to prospective clients and be able to explain the benefits behind training and how we can help them
- Assist with social media posts, content creation and writing monthly member newsletters as needed

**Skills**
- Experience opening up and closing down a boutique fitness studio is an asset
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate clients
- Experience teaching a variety of group fitness formats is an asset
- Recognized group fitness certifications (Can Fit Pro, OFC, CSEP, ACE etc.), Personal Training Certification or post secondary education in Fitness, Kinesiology or Physical education
- Communication skills:_
- Ability to respond to complaints in a clear, yet well mannered response
- Teamwork (coordinating with rest of staff)
- Contacting another team member when needed. Eg. When incident reports are filed or recognizing that a question is better answered by another member of the team
- Experience working in customer service in a Boutique Fitness, Health and Wellness, Food Service or Hospitality environment an asset

**Tentative Schedule**
- Monday evenings
- Fridays during the day
- Saturday mornings

**Requirements**:

- Flexible hours:_
- Ability to work morning and afternoon/evening shifts. We open the gym as early as 6am (with a 5:30 am arrival)
- Need to obtain an excellent understanding of Altitude Athletic Training Products, Services, Policies, Terms and Conditions, Operating Hours, Code of Conduct
- Be able to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Every Weekend
- Monday to Friday
