**Role and Responsibilities**
**Key Responsibilities**:
Leadership and Team Management:
- Provide strong leadership to the platform engineering, DataOps, and MLOps teams.
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing and motivated team.
- Create a culture of accountability, excellence, and continuous improvement.
Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for the evolution of the Data Platform aligned with business goals and objectives.
- Effectively track, manage and remediate technical debt as the platform evolves.
Process Optimization:
- Drive efficiency and scalability in platform operations.
- Streamline and optimize DataOps and MLOps processes.
- Implement best practices for data governance, security, and compliance.
Product Development:
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define and prioritize platform features to drive adoption and ensure high internal customer satisfaction.
- Oversee the design, development, and deployment of data products.
- Ensure the seamless integration of new technologies and tools into the platform.
Technology Oversight:
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the platform remains cutting-edge.
- Maintain a deep technical understanding of the entire data stack.
- Evaluate and implement new technologies to enhance platform capabilities.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the engineering team.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- +10 years of experience in leading data platform teams.
- Proven experience in data engineering, DataOps, and MLOps.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Deep technical expertise in data technologies, databases, and cloud platforms.
- Experience with big data technologies and machine learning frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
- Deep experience on cloud technologies such as: Azure, AWS, GCP, Databricks.
