**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Processing all incoming invoices for accuracy, approval and entry.
- Ensure invoices are properly recorded in accordance with company policy and generally accepted accounting principles.
- Distributes invoices for approval to department managers within the company.
- Prepares invoices for data entry including general ledger coding as required.
- Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to data entry based on the company’s policies and procedures.
- Process out of cycle disbursements, weekly and mid-monthly checks, and ACH payments.
- Reconciliation and entry of monthly corporate credit card statements including review of supporting documentation and general ledger coding.
- Assist with compiling audit documentation.
- Reconcile intercompany AR/AP.
- Monitor on-hold invoices and credit items within accounts payable.
- Assist with any month-end close items as required.

Other Duties
- Participate in special ad-hoc duties and projects.
- Take part and assist in process improvement initiatives to capture efficiencies in processes.
- Perform additional job-related duties as requested by management.

**Experience**:

- 2+ years of accounts payable experience.
- Associate degree in accounting or related field or equivalent in education and experience.
- Experience in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Experience with Sage is an asset.

**Work Environment/Physical Requirements**:

- Sitting for prolonged periods of time.
- Working extra hours as necessary.
