Lacombe County, Canada BAMSS Contracting Inc. Full time

BAMSS Contracting Inc., a trucking company specializing in the transportation of liquefied petroleum gases (LPG) throughout Western Canada, is looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join our team.

**Responsibilities include**:
Dispatch drivers and equipment throughout Western Canada efficiently to meet customer needs

Coordinate with drivers to manage drivers’ daily and shift hours as per NSC regulations

Monitor weather forecasts and systems throughout Western Canada, accurately relay information to drivers on road

Maintain site maps and location directions monitor roads bans and advise drivers of changes in road conditions

Coordinate equipment repairs, deficiencies, and routine maintenance with mechanic shop

Report on-road and worker incidents to safety coordinator and dispatch supervisor

*Dispatch supervisor roles will be all of the above as well to supervisor the dispatchers and assist and handle high level concerns.

**Requirements**:
High level of professionalism with customers, clients, and fellow workers including drivers and mechanic shop staff

Knowledge of safe handling of dangerous goods, loading facility and unloading site requirements

Working knowledge of regulations including: trip permitting, weights and dimensions, HOS, dangerous goods routes

**Other requirements**:
Shift work: 5 on - 3 off (on-call while on shift)

**Qualifications**:
Knowledge of Truck Dispatching software an asset

Knowledge of ELD software an asset

**Salary**: $60,000.00-$96,000.00 per year
