**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Grade 12 diploma, plus 2 years post-secondary diploma in medical office administration
- Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology with a medical terminology certificate
- Basic skill level is required for MS Excel, Word and typing speed
- Intermediate skill level is required for spelling, medical spelling and medical terminology
- Excellent telephone, interpersonal and customer service skills required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
- Working knowledge of patient processing systems and order placement (EPIC)
- Knowledge of general office practices, procedures and standards required.
- Ability to use good judgment in assessing difficult situations required.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure both independently and in a team approach.
- Excellent organizations, interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills. Must be able to perform multiple tasks and provide compassionate customer services.

- A commitment to continuing education an asset.
- Good work performance and attendance record is essential.

NOTE: Clerical testing will take place as part of the interview process.

**HOURS OF WORK**:Monday to Friday; days, weekends

**WAGE RATE**:
Hourly: $24.49... $25.54... $26.59 (plus 14% in lieu of benefits)
