We are looking for a friendly and organized Receptionist to join our team and be the first point of contact for our valued clients.
We are seeking a personable and detail-oriented Receptionist with an esthetician background, at least 4 years of experience, basic bookkeeping knowledge, social media management skills, and strong sales abilities to manage our front desk operations. As the Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our clients have a seamless and enjoyable experience from the moment they walk in the door. Your responsibilities will include greeting clients, scheduling appointments, managing phone calls, maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the reception area, assisting with basic bookkeeping tasks, managing our social media presence, and promoting our service packages.
**Responsibilities**:
- Greet clients warmly and ensure they feel welcomed and comfortable.
- Schedule and confirm appointments using our booking system.
- Handle client inquiries about services, pricing, and promotions.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
- Process payments and manage the cash register.
- Coordinate with estheticians to ensure timely and efficient client service.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and inventory management.
- Uphold salon policies and procedures to ensure a high standard of service.
- Perform basic bookkeeping tasks, including recording financial transactions, handling accounts receivable/payable, and preparing simple financial reports.
- Manage the salon's social media accounts (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter) by creating and posting content, responding to comments and messages, and engaging with our online community.
- Monitor social media trends and analytics to optimize our online presence and engagement.
- Utilize your esthetician knowledge to assist clients with questions about treatments and products.
- Promote and sell service packages to clients, demonstrating a strong understanding of our offerings and their benefits.
**Qualifications**:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a receptionist or customer service role, preferably in a salon or spa setting.
- Esthetician background with relevant certification or experience.
- Basic knowledge of bookkeeping principles and experience with financial record-keeping.
- Experience in managing social media accounts for a business or organization.
- Proven sales skills and the ability to promote and sell service packages effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using booking systems and basic office software (e.g., MS Office).
- Familiarity with social media platforms and tools for content creation and scheduling.
- Ability to multitask and handle a fast-paced environment.
- Friendly, positive attitude with a passion for customer service.
- Reliable and punctual.
