The Foundation has grown in recent years to be a leading community hospital foundation with a strong and engaged board of directors.Following on the success of the recent $100M+ Promise campaign, the Foundation is launching its most ambitious campaign thus far supporting the largest transformation of St. Joe¿s in its history.We are looking for energetic and hardworking team members to join our staff and help in this transformation.

**Position Profile**

The Events and Volunteers Officer will be a key member of St. Joseph¿s Health Centre Foundation team and reports to the Manager, Events. The incumbent will have experience supporting event production and volunteers in various capacities and will provide exceptional support to event participants, sponsors and partners.

They will serve as one of our events experts (including signature, partnership and virtual events) and work closely with the Foundation and Health Centre teams as well as event committees and volunteers. S/he is responsible for administrative aspects of the events program and actively assists with online and peer-to-peer fundraising support.

S/he is someone who will know the west-end community well, support the conception and execution of events that mobilize our volunteers and the community, build awareness of St. Joe¿s, are accessible, engaging and increasingly profitable.

**Roles & Responsibilities**
- Provides support to the Manager of Events in regards to all signature, third party, community partnership and virtual events- Coordinates event logistics in support of cultivation and stewardship activities¿ supporting annual, Major Gifts and Annual Giving events internally-
- Utilizes event tools, including Luminate, RE NXT, registration platforms, etc.-
- Provides outstanding customer support to our volunteers, the general public, and event participants.-
- Works with Events team to draft volunteer committee meeting materials including agendas, minutes, rsvps, etc.-
- Supports event planning, critical path management, volunteer recruitment, participant communication, partner recognition and data tracking-
- Maintains relationship and event data as it pertains to events/partners in CRM database (Raiser¿s Edge)-
- Supports with the recruitment, training and motivation of community of volunteers**Qualifications**:
1.Minimum of 3 years of work experience, preferably in the charitable sector with related experience; fundraising, events and volunteer management

2.Fundraising experience in health care environment preferred, ideally with experience working on events

3.High level of proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint;
4.Preferred experience working with Raiser¿s Edge fundraising software;
5.Preferred experience working with Luminate Online fundraising software

6.Excellent organizational, communications (verbal/written), interpersonal and problem-solving skills

7.Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities and be self-motivated in a high pressure and demanding work environment

- Driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
- Available to work occasional nights and/or weekends for events
