**Position Description**:
The Video Monitoring Attendance (VMA) provides continuous monitoring of up to 9 high-risk patients in clinical units at the UOHI via multiple camera feeds. High-risk patients include those with a high fall risk, delirium/confusion/dementia or wandering/elopement risk patient. The VMA will be expected to efficiently manage the video monitoring software and attentively watch video streams of multiple patient rooms.
**Rotation/Shifts**:
- Days, evenings and nights, every second weekend, 8 hour shifts (07:00-15:00, 15:00-23:00, 23:00-07:00).- For information purposes only - The Hospital reserves the right to change.
**Basic Requirements**:
- High School Diploma (Grade 12);
- Three (3) to Six (6) months recent clerical or clinical or equivalent experience;
- Basic computer key board skills and general PC knowledge;
- Ability to exercise independent judgement in emergency situations required;
- Successful completion of the Video Monitoring Technician (VMT) training program during the first month of employment and prior to beginning VMT shifts is required;
