Property Services Assistant

Calgary, Canada Bison Transport Full time

The purpose of this position is to ensure the Calgary Terminal building and property is well maintained. This will include establishing that all necessary repairs are made in a timely and cost effective manner. The Property Services Assistant will be lifting, pulling and managing equipment and tools. They must come prepared to work in all weather conditions including extreme heat and cold.

**Responsibilities**:

- Yard Maintenance
- Water (Underground Tank) Check
- Office Maintenance
- Shop equipment and tool maintenance
- Mechanical Room maintenance
- Completes and maintains maintenance logs and security incident reports
- Maintain inventory control over equipment and supplies and orders replacement supplies when needed
- Some janitorial work
- Miscellaneous duties as assigned/required

Qualifications:

- Good organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a multi-tasking environment
- Adaptable and able to work independently
- Ability to perform manual labour
- Must be able to operate heavy equipment
- Experience in small engine & tool repair is considered an asset
- Basic electrical, HVAC, plumbing experience is considered an asset
- Cellphone with data plan is required
