The successful individual will have relevant experience of 1+ year as an Administrative Assistant. He/She must be an exceptional communicator and demonstrate above average organizational and analytical skills. The Administrative Assistant will be the first contact at the centre, promoting a friendly and supportive environment.

**The qualifications of the individual we are looking for include**:

- **Previous work experience as an Administrative Assistant (at least 1 year)** and experience providing support to a Business Owner or Executive is an asset.

- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Proficiency with Mac Computers especially Pages and Numbers, Microsoft Office especially Word and Excel
- The ability to maintain discretion, tact, and confidentiality always
- A self starter who proactively anticipates needs
- The ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions and changes in schedule
- Someone who works collaboratively with the team as well as independently.

**Description of duties**:

- Check, maintain, and stock supplies for the Centre including cleaning and stationary supplies
- Photocopy and file as necessary
- Open and prioritize incoming mail; arrange for couriers and deliveries
- Prepare correspondence, reports, forms, meeting agendas, and other documents
- Assist with the purchasing and organizing of supplies for the centre
- Maintain a list of suppliers/vendors and research new ones when necessary
- Assist with scheduling needs
- Assist with the development or procurement of promotional and information materials
- Assist with light clean up duties around the centre as needed (e.g., taking out garbage, replenishing supplies during the day)
- Travel between two sites (9741 Bayview Ave and 519 16th Ave) and assist with administrative and light clean up duties across both site
- Book contractors as necessary
- Maintain correspondence with parents
- Assist administratively with client intake
- Assist CEO with administrative and operational duties as assigned
- Assist with technological updates (e.g., software, setting up computers)
- Perform other tasks as assigned including running errands for the Centre, ordering and pick up of lunch, etc.
