Victoria, Canada RLC Landscaping Inc. Full time

Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, you will play a key role in the success of our landscaping team as the **Landscape Maintenance/Construction Operations Manager**. You will have proven project management experience to deliver results on time and within scope.

This is a permanent full-time position with profit sharing potential, extended health benefits, RRSP matching.

**Responsibilities**
- Supervise, coordinate and manage daily operations in landscaping and construction projects.
- Manage a dynamic team including Horticulturists, Sales Leaders, Lead Foreman, Supply & Logistics Manager and Labourers.
- Liaise with clients, project managers and subcontractors to resolve issues or concerns and attend meetings as required.
- Assist as required with other landscape construction or landscape maintenance crews.
- Coordinate property tours, schedule resources for the salting/snow removal season.
- Facilitate safety meetings, site planning meetings as required.
- Participates in new construction bid process and reviews.
- Communicate daily progress, job timelines, issues, to management team.
- Coordinate the delivery of materials to job sites.
- Drive work vehicles and trailers as applicable to and from sites.

**Skills and Abilities**
- Read plans, blueprints and understand scope of job.
- Price and participate in providing estimates, timelines for new construction/landscape jobs.
- Knowledge of specific materials, methods, tools, and equipment required to complete all scopes of construction and landscaping contracts.
- Hire, supervise/manage staff; perform performance reviews and coach/mentor staff.
- High level of sound and independent judgment and reasoning.
- Detailed oriented and excellent time management skills.
- Service oriented and self motivated.
- Dedicated, with an all-hands-on-deck attitude towards completing the work efficiently and accurately.
- Ability to change priorities and be adaptable.
- Strategic thinking and problem resolution skills.
- Communicates effectively both written and verbal.
- Works well independently and with a team.

**Education and Experience**
- Project management experience is a must.
- Proven experience in managing various types and complexities of all phases of a project.
- Construction experience an asset.
- Experience in operations management an asset.
- Valid Class 5 Drivers License and a clean driving record.

**Salary**: From $80,000.00 per year
