Landscape Carpenter

Are you a highly motivated team player who loves to work in beautiful environments outdoors? RLC Landscaping is looking for a Landscape Carpenter to contribute to the ongoing success of our landscaping team.

**Role Summary**

Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, you will play a key role in the ongoing success of our landscaping team. This is a permanent full-time position and a great opportunity for experienced workers to contribute and expand their knowledge along with those who wish to learn. The setting is outdoors and hands-on work for those who love to stay busy and be physically active. Beautiful views, great clients and a fun team make for an enjoyable day at work

**Responsibilities**
- Follows written and verbal instructions from the crew leader and clients.
- Supervise and lead installation of decks, stairs, fences, retaining walls and creative hard scape for commercial and residential projects.
- Assist with other landscape construction crew as needed.
- Ability to read plans, blueprints and understand scope of job.
- Onsite supervisor with good customer relations
- Be able to work alone or with small crew mentoring team members.
- Communicate daily progress, job timelines.
- Ability to price and provide estimates.
- Removes snow, ice and leaves as required.
- Loads and unloads equipment and tools into work vehicles.
- Drives work vehicles to and from sites.
- Follow all health and safety regulations.

**Skills and Abilities**
- Detailed oriented and excellent time management skills.
- Service oriented and self motivated.
- Knowledge of specific materials, methods, tools, and equipment required to complete all scopes of construction and landscaping contracts.
- Ability to work in a variety of outside conditions for extended periods of time.
- Lifts 50 pounds and handles the physical demands of the job, including standing, bending, lifting, pulling and climbing.
- Communicates effectively both written and verbal.
- Works well independently and with a team.

**Education and Experience**
- At least four years of experience in carpentry
- Valid Class 5 Drivers License and a clean driving record.

**Salary**: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
