**Summary**:
The producer / director ensures the production / directing of various shows produced live or in editing for which he / she is responsible according to the mission, values, objectives, strategies and plan of action from the Le Réseau des Sports, RDS2, RDS Info and RDS.ca. After consultation with the relevant stakeholders, he (she) is responsible for the development of the concept, its presentation, the writing of the texts, the directing, the production, the management and the presentation.

Under the responsibility of the Executive Producer for Programming, the producer / director must produce and direct various shows for the Programming service.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Plan the concept, production, editing of various programs
- Perform live / delayed broadcasts in multi-camera mode
- Direct the editing of various shows, clips and other production elements
- Stay informed and on the edge of technological developments
- Other related tasks

**Critical Qualifications**:

- A college diploma and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
- Good knowledge of the television production industry and broadcasting rules (i.e. CRTC, Advertising standards, etc.)
- Good knowledge of sports
- Experience in concept development and writing in video production
- Strong planning, organization, and prioritization skills
- Time management skills and the ability to manage tight deadlines
- Project management skills
- Strong communication skills in French and English (spoken and written)
- Attentive to details, thorough in the execution of tasks
- Schedule flexibility
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and different editing methods
- Ability to work under pressure
- Demonstrate great interpersonal, teamwork, tact, and diplomacy skills
- Maintain harmonious relationships
- Reflect RDS values
- Management experience and knowledge
- Budget management experience
