**THE OPPORTUNITY**

We are in the process of recruiting a Salesforce Advisor who will have a deep understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem and will be called upon to lead the design and implementation of data-driven projects in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

Reporting to the Director, IT, the Salesforce Advisor will work closely with Philanthropy, Grantmaking, Finance, Policy and Investment teams to identify and translate business requirements into Salesforce - all guided by our objectives of consolidating systems, automating processes, improving decision making and securing stakeholder information.

We are looking for a team player, who (like all of us) is flexible and adaptable, ready to manage multiple competing tasks depending on the opportunities, needs and challenges inherent to a start-up environment.

**SCOPE & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Serve as primary administrator for a Salesforce environment with 30-40 internal users and approximately 750 Communities users, including technical support (login issues, process errors, etc.)
- Conduct Business and User Needs Analysis with stakeholders within Equality Fund and external users to design and scope new functionality for Salesforce and related systems
- Design, configure, and maintain data structures and processes to track constituents and opportunities
- Design, configure, and maintain integrations with external systems
- Design, configure, and maintain a DevOps and release management process
- Maintain regular backups of data and metadata
- Create, manage and monitor all end-user training and adoption protocols
- Create and maintain detailed system and business process documentation
- Lead Salesforce data-driven projects (custom reports, dashboards, data vis, etc.)
- Develop data loading pipelines to automate or streamline manual data loads;
- Support with project management and oversight of external contractors working within Salesforce

**QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES**
- 5+ years in a leading role delivering Salesforce projects and integrations, preferably in a nonprofit environment using NPSP
- Degree or professional qualification in Business, Computer Science, Math, Finance or a similar field of study
- Salesforce Administrator certification is an asset
- Thorough knowledge of governance and risk management
- Knowledge in Apex code and Lightning Web Components (LWCs)
- Prior experience and familiarity working with APIs, Integrated Systems, UI/UX, workflows, processes, field creation, layout modifications
- Experience with Visual Studio Code and GitHub Repositories
- Strong business acumen
- Ability to visually and orally communicate solutions to a variety of technical and nontechnical stakeholders
- Ability to motivate and direct a multidisciplinary team of Salesforce users
- Demonstrated problem solving and troubleshooting skills in a rapidly changing environment
- The ability to thrive in a fast paced and complex environment is essential.
