We accomplish this by increasing the start-up capacity and enhancing the innovation ecosystem in NWO.

**The Role**
Reporting to the Executive Director, the Client Services Coordinator is responsible for the management, coordination and continuity of the organization's various programs and services - all aimed at providing entrepreneurship and business support. We offer programs for innovative business and startups to support them funding different types of projects and initiaves, in addition we provide business advisory services, access to mentorship, workshops, co-working space and meeting rooms. The incumbent is also required to coordinate with the Executive Director and support staff with respect to scheduling, delegation, logistics and budgeting to ensure the successful facilitation of Northwestern Ontario Innovation Centre Inc. programs and services. Other duties may be assigned as required.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Meeting with new and existing clients, and assess prospective needs at intake
- Design, present and offer NOIC programs and services.
- Organize and manage NOIC programs and services, through all stages of planning.
- Support administering programs and services budgets and ensure it is adhered to.
- Manage client tracking and program metrics as required by funders
- Work with local and regional key partners to deliver programs and services
- Support managing programs and services communications and promotion.
- Prepare and facilitate regular meetings with the staff and the Executive Director.
- Maintain positive and professional communication with clients.
- Maintain detailed and accurate programs and services records.
- Manage the development, production and distribution of promotional materials.
- Oversee the financial management of NOIC programs and services.
- Review and assess feedback on all programs and services for continuous improvement.
- Understand the local development ecosystem and become an active participant in partner outreach & collaboration.
- Assist the innovation centre team with other duties, programs and community initiatives as required
- Identify and engage new advisors and mentors.
- Other operational and administrative duties may be assigned as required.

**Skills and Qualifications**
- University degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, Economics or a related field.
- 2-5 years’ experience in similar roles.
- Intermediate - advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point).
- Ability to interpret and effectively manage multiple and competing priorities and deadlines.
- Proven ability to organize, evaluate, communicate and present information, both verbally and written.
- Experience working for non-profit incubators, accelerators and economic development organizations, considered an asset.
- Knowledge of business and start-up development strategies, government assistance programs and incentives.
- Ability to research and prepare documents, reports, presentations, and value propositions.
- Strong market research, project management, interpersonal and problem-solving skills. Proven ability to multi-task and focus on several projects at once.
- Knowledge of relevant economic development trends and government programs, considered an asset.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Knowledge of and demonstrated ability in core competencies including customer service, communication, teamwork, initiative/self-management, accountability, and flexibility/adaptability.
- Sound judgment and ability in handling matters of a confidential, sensitive or political nature.
- Demonstrated ability to deal positively with a broad spectrum of internal and external clients.

**Working conditions**
- Regular full time/ 5 days a week.
- Ability to work outside regular business hours, as required
- Occasional travel required
- Valid Ontario Class “G” driver’s license
- Office located on Confederation College, Thunder Bay Campus.
- Part time employment may be considered.

**Salary**: $65,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
