We’re looking for our next Manager, Business Continuity Risk Management. Could It Be You?
The purpose of the Manager, Business Continuity Risk Management (BCRM) is to assist the Senior Manager, BCRM in overseeing and supporting the development and implementation of the enterprise BCRM framework and for providing effective support across the Questrade Financial Group of companies (QFG).

What’s it like working as a Manager, Business Continuity Risk Management at Questrade?
Reporting to the Senior Manager, BCRM, this role is responsible for contributing to the design and oversight of implementation of the enterprise BCRM framework and for providing effective support across the Questrade Financial Group of companies in areas of Emergency Response, Incident Management, Business Continuity Planning and Disaster Recovery.
Working closely with partners and stakeholders, the Manager, BCRM will be responsible for developing business continuity methodologies, performing risk assessments, governance, training and reporting.

**In this role, responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Develop and contribute to the execution of the BCRM Strategy, framework, Policy, Standards, structures, and processes
- Support the development and implementation of the company’s operational resilience framework
- Create alignment of BCRM methodologies and practices amongst key internal stakeholders
- Provide objective and independent risk expert advice and counsel to the business, and ensure ongoing improvement and evolution of BCRM strategies and capabilities
- Assist in the identification and preparation for emerging risks
- Establish and maintain BCRM reporting and governance related activities
- Support the development of training and testing programs to provide assurance of resilience to key risks and threats
- Establish and report on BCRM key risk metrics and facilitate the sharing of best practices across QFG
- Support response efforts at time of incident
- Ability to independently manage and prioritize multiple assignments and meet deadlines
- Maintain productive relationships with all internal and external stakeholders

- University degree, preferably in a business, risk management or compliance discipline
- Minimum of 5 years BCRM experience, or related role in the financial services/fintech industry
- Professional designation in BCRM is an asset
- Knowledge of BCRM best practices
- Experience in a Business Continuity or Resiliency function
- Ability to work effectively with internal and external partners
- Working knowledge and experience with BCRM planning methodologies and support of critical business operations
- Have a working knowledge of FI regulations (OSFI, CIRO, FCAC, etc.)
- Knowledge and understanding of Business Continuity Industry Standards (i.e. ISO 22301, BCI GPG, DRI Professional Practices, etc.)
- Have sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritizing, and executing skills
