**Job Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious Flagger to join our team. The Flagger will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of construction sites and roadwork areas by directing traffic and maintaining a safe environment for both workers and the public. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in various weather conditions.

**Duties**
- Direct traffic flow around construction sites using appropriate hand signals and signage.
- Ensure the safety of workers and pedestrians by monitoring traffic patterns.
- Communicate effectively with team members and drivers to prevent accidents.
- Set up and dismantle traffic control devices, including cones, signs, and barriers.
- Assist in paving operations by coordinating with heavy equipment operators.
- Maintain a clear understanding of site plans and safety protocols.
- Report any unsafe conditions or incidents to supervisors immediately.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a Flagger or in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- A commitment to safety practices and procedures is essential.
- Willingness to learn about paving operations and assist as needed.

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Lower Mainland, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- TCP: 1 year (required)

Willingness to travel:

- 75% (preferred)
