Easter Seals Alberta is a provincial not-for-profit organization that has been in existence for 70 years. Our mission is to provide services that foster inclusion, independence, and recreation for individuals with disabilities and medical conditions. We strive to ensure that the resources Albertan's need for an independent and full life are available.

We are seeking a **Raiser’s Edge and Donor Database Coordinator** who will be responsible for managing our donor database, ensuring data integrity, and supporting the organization's fundraising efforts. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to accuracy, and the ability to generate meaningful insights from donor data.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Raiser’s Edge Database Management**:

- Maintain and update the Raiser’s Edge database, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and timely updates for donor stewardship, recognition, and solicitation.
- Process donations, including gift entry, receipting, and donor acknowledgment. Ensure accuracy in tracking gift-in-kind, split receipting, and non-charitable contributions.
- Create and run queries, data reports, and analysis to provide insights for fundraising strategies and reporting purposes.
- Conduct regular database troubleshooting, testing, and updates, including installations, backups, and data mapping.
- Manage donor records by updating contact information and engagement activities.
- Develop and implement best practices for data management, creating and maintaining documentation for all database processes.
- Provide user support for Raiser’s Edge, including training, system testing, and user documentation.

**Additional Donor Database Responsibilities**:

- Support donor segmentation and targeted communication through database queries and reports.
- Collaborate with the Fund Development team to identify donor trends, assess fundraising campaign effectiveness, and recommend improvements.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and standards for donor data management and reporting.
- Monitor and clean the database regularly to eliminate duplicates, ensure the accuracy of records, and maintain database efficiency.
- Support online donation processing, ensuring data synchronization between donation platforms and the donor database.
- Coordinate with the finance department to reconcile donation records with financial reports.

**Qualifications**:

- 1 or more years of experience managing Raiser’s Edge or similar CRM systems.
- Strong attention to detail, with excellent organizational and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in donor database management, fundraising, or non-profit administration is an asset.
- Commitment to maintaining ethical standards in donor relations and data management.

**Other**:

- Part-time position (20 hours/week) reporting to the Director of Finance.
- Mix of remote and in-office work.
- A criminal records search and intervention record check are required.
