We are seeking a Maintenance Planner to collaborate effectively with a high-performing team to drive continuous improvement, capture requirements, and support our business objectives. You will assist the area supervisor(s) with future maintenance activities such as maintenance planning and scheduling, outage coordination, procuring materials, developing work order requests, and coordinating field maintenance contractors to ensure that resources are identified for effective and efficient work execution.

What you will do:

- Develop and document maintenance work packages.
- Identify requirements of equipment isolation and lock-out plans. Collaborate with technicians and field engineers as needed.
- Communicate site/area operational outage requirements with the Region Outage Coordinator.
- Assist in the development of area outage plans and schedules.
- Collaborate with SCM (Supply Chain Management) to specify and procure parts and materials.
- Role requires a valid driver's license, which will be verified with a driver's abstract check prior to hire.
- Undergo various background screenings that include but are not limited to 5-year driving record, criminal check, and a company-sponsored medical and drug testing.

Who you are:

- Related university degree and six‐plus years' experience OR eight‐plus years of previous field operations experience, OR equivalent mix of formal education and experience.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong maintenance planning and scheduling skills.
- Good organizational skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision, or as part of a broad team.

Working Conditions:

- Office setting (60%), Field setting (40%)
- Travel throughout the region for emergencies, training, and region meetings within Canada and the United States.
- Occasionally required to work long hours on short notice.
- Occasional daily travel of 50-100 miles between assigned stations.
- Work often required in high noise level areas and areas where vapor from crude oil and solvents may be present.
