Vancouver, Canada Canadian Tire - SW Marine Dr Full time

We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our team. The Sales Associate team member works in a fast-paced environment that involves constant interaction with customers, delivering friendly and courteous service while explaining product benefits and fulfilling customer needs. This role also involves store maintenance such as stocking shelves, merchandising and general housekeeping.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responds to and handles customer inquiries, requests and concerns in a timely manner, over the phone and in person.
- Greet customers and assist them in finding the right products
- Provide product information and answer any questions or concerns
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
- Monitor inventory levels and restock merchandise as needed
- Collaborate with team members to achieve goals
- Suggest value-added and related products by actively listening to customer needs.
- Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and industry trends

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in retail sales is preferred but not required
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English
- Cash handling experience is an asset
- Ability to work well in a team environment

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $16.75 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 25 per week
