Food Partnerships offers programming that reflects our commitment to our students, staff and faculty. In addition to overseeing the food outlets, beverage services, and vending on campus, our division also ensures food needs and diversity are met through various campus food offerings, builds community by bringing people together over a meal at various food festivals and events, ensures equipment and furniture are well maintained, operates TCard+ Program and meets the changing needs of our community as a whole through the Food User Committee.

**Your opportunity**:
Working under the direction of the Assistant Director, Food Partnerships, the Food Services Coordinator is responsible for the successful oversight of all retail food service and residential dining at the University of Toronto Scarborough (UTSC). This position will oversee the external brands as per brand standards and internal brands standards ensuring a high level of client satisfaction. Additionally, this position will be responsible for the overall profitability and financial performance of multiple food service locations and will contribute to the overall client satisfaction and business growth of Food Partnerships at UTSC.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Monitoring food quality and service delivery
- Planning and administering expenditures for operating budget
- Developing and revising business methods that support administrative workflow and objectives.
- Analyzing and making recommendations for the purchase of new equipment and supplies.
- Evaluating client satisfaction with programs and services.
- Keeping well-informed on food concepts and trends in the food industry.
- Analyzing, monitoring and reporting on supplier performance based on contracted agreements and strategic objectives.
- Providing safety training and ensuring adherence to safety procedures and standards.

**Essential Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field of study or an acceptable combination of equivalent experience.
- Minimum five (5) years of related experience within Hospitality with direct experience in a business portfolio including multiple brands and/or business segments.
- Experience in food, beverage and alcohol operation and management is required.
- Experience in the openings of new business segments and managing multiple retail units.
- Experience with food and event management.
- Excellent computer skills in MS Office programs: Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated initiative and experience with driving and delivering change
- Demonstrated proficiency and knowledge of financial reporting
- Demonstrated ability to tackle multiple competing priorities.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills and providing detailed information and support to clients.
- Superior leadership skills and a demonstrated commitment to sustainable growth.
