**Job Description**:
This position is responsible for supporting the Director, EDI in developing the overarching EDI framework and organizational strategies required to understand, assess, foster and cultivate Equity, Diversity and Inclusion across our college community. This position does so through their support and actions in the design, delivery and analysis of initiatives intended to create a more diverse and inclusive environment.

Qualifications Required:
Education & Experience:

- Undergraduate degree in a relevant field.
- Training or certification in equity, diversity and inclusion, or similar work be a strong asset.
- 5 years’ experience in the equity, diversity and inclusion, or similar space
- An appropriate combination of education, work, and life experience may be considered.
- Experience facilitating workshops would be an asset.
- Strong technical ability (Microsoft Office suite).
- Ability to design, deliver, and source programming and/or training.
- Solid understanding and experience with best-practices, policies, processes, and metrics in diversity and inclusion.

- Demonstrates strong relationship building skills and ability to influence, share different ideas and perspectives and operate in a matrix organization.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated effective ability to communicate and connect with diverse groups.
- Demonstrated understanding of unconscious bias, microaggressions, and intersectionality.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Ability to multi-task and be self-directed.
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects and responsibilities, while setting and meeting required deadlines and working in complex and/or sensitive situations.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and acquisition of relevant knowledge and skills.

$37.06 - $54.36 per hour

Compensation beyond the mid-point requires approval by the Public Sector Employers’ Council Secretariat (PSEC).
