Title: Automotive Accounting Clerk

Division: Georgian Chevrolet Buick GMC

Reporting to: Controller

Status: Full time

**Role and Responsibilities**
- Accounts payable data entry and reconciliations
- Filing invoices and paperwork as required
- Actively communicates and collaborates with other department members
- Completes administrative functions and is cross-trained in various administration/accounting functions to assist fellow department team members when required and as business needs arise
- Performs general accounting functions (data entry, posting, A/R, A/P)
- Manages certain general ledger accounts and schedules
- Processing and posting vehicle sale and purchase transactions

**Skills and Abilities**
- Ability to meet deadlines in a timely manner
- Organizational skills and attention to detail
- Able to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to accurately calculate, post, correct, and manage accounting figures and financial records
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word and Excel
- Effective communicator - both verbally and written.
- Must have a valid Ontario driver’s license

**Education and Experience **Background in, accounting and finance, with college or university and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of Dealership Management Systems ie Reynolds and Reynolds (DMS) an asset
- Automotive Accounting: 1 to 3 years (required)

Salary to be determined based on level of experience

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
