**Communications and Logistics Administrator (CLA) include**:
**Requirements**:
**Experience**:

- Minimum of 3 years in an administrative role
- Experience in the Forest or Natural Resource industry (direct wildland firefighting experience preferred)
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Word and Excel and other administrative software
- Basic bookkeeping skills (billing, invoicing, reporting, etc.)
- Experience with QuickBooks online preferred but not required
- Experience with Payroll preferred but not required

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage crew certifications and manifests
- Assist Operations Manager and Senior Crew Leaders in deployment of crews as needed.
- Create, track and manage invoices and billing
- Detailed and orderly filing and documentation
- Maintain excellent communication with crew
- General business administrative tasks
- Must be able to work independently and as part of team
- Report directly to the Operations Manager
- Payroll
- Data entry and record keeping

**Duration of Contract: Beginning of April to end of September with potential opportunities for year-round work upon completion of the initial contract.**
**Hours of work: Core hours 09:00-17:00 Monday to Friday. May be required to work overtime or be on standby over weekends.**

**Location**:Cranbrook or Castlegar/Nelson Offices

**Wage**:$23-$25/hour
