**CURRIULUM & ASSESSMENT SPECIALIST**

**ACADEMIC STRATEGY & INTEGRATION**

**HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE**
- Design assessment methods for microcredentials in multiple modalities, including ways for learners to do a preliminary assessment, with a human-centred approach.
- Collaborate with the microcredential development teams to understand badge progression and stacking in microcredentials, within NorQuest’s badge taxonomy.
- Lead and manage microcredential laddering and alignment to existing or future programs.
- Contribute to development of quality assurance for microcredentials, including triggers for updates and criteria that defines the shelf-life of competencies.
- Develop learning resources and tools for faculty and staff to understand competency-based microcredentials and the NorQuest badge taxonomy.
- Design and develop tools and processes to align competency-based microcredentials with outcomes-based programming.
- Embed accessibility and universal design principles in the project work, ensuring resources are available to learners, faculty, and staff.
- Integrate Anti-Racist pedagogy throughout the curriculum process.
- Advance equity, diversity and inclusion, Decolonization, and Indigenous perspectives throughout the projects.

**WHAT YOU BRING**
- A Master's Degree in Education with specialization in instructional design and/or curriculum development or an equivalent level of credentials and experience.
- [FOR FACULTY] If your education was received internationally we recommend you obtain an international education assessment through IQAS, WES, or one of the other nationally designated organizations.
- Experience in skills assessment and methods to evaluate prior knowledge.
- Significant knowledge of outcomes-based and competency-based curriculum and pedagogical practices for online and blended teaching and learning.
- Demonstrated experience with a variety of curriculum designs for courses, programs and modalities in post-secondary education.
- Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders to develop engaging learning experiences for diverse adult learners across various modalities.
- Strong foundation of e-learning content delivery technologies.
- Experience building courses in Moodle LMS.
- Experience designing with Indigenous pedagogies

This is a Faculty role, and the pay range is quite large, check out the Faculty Collective Agreement Appendix A to better understand how pay is determined.
