**About the work environment**:

Typically, you'll be working regular business hours, Monday to Friday between 8:00am and 4:30pm with flexibility around start & end times.

**About you**:
You are a law clerk who is looking to branch out and grow your experience with a financial institution. You have experience using LawVu and sound corporate records filing knowledge. You can take direction and run with it and always seek to find the ‘why’ behind things. You are mature, professional, not afraid to ask questions and thrive working with a tight knit, collaborative team.

**About you / qualifications**:

- 2-3 years experience as a junior law clerk
- Sound knowledge of Corporations Canada and BC Corporate online
- Knowledgeable on Annual Corporate Filings procedures, provincial & Canada wide
- ALF experience
- Experience maintaining corporate minute books
- Detail oriented, highly organized, ability to deal effectively with deadlines, and work well under pressure.
- Positive with a can-do, ‘how can I help’ attitude.
- Self-motivated with ability to perform under mínimal direction
- Work independently while enjoying being part of a supportive team.
- Strong analytical skills with a desire to learn the ‘why’ behind things

**About the day-to-day**:

- Administration and troubleshooting of LawVu
- Draft simple resolutions, annual and ad hoc
- Maintenance of corporate minute books
- Liaising with lawyers and colleagues to obtain information and instructions.
- Maintenance of Annual Report bring forward system
- Maintenance of corporate records book and conversion of records to digital format
- Preparation of documents and filing (BC Registry Services and Corporations Canada)
- Maintaining integrity of corporate database and all record keeping systems.
- Keeping current on changes in legislation and government policy and informing others as appropriate.
