We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Law Clerk with intensive experience in personal injury law, specifically Torts to join our dynamic legal team. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on various types of cases under the guidance of a very senior lawyer.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist attorneys in managing a diverse caseload of personal injury matters, including motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls and other injury claims.
  • Prepare, draft, and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and settlement agreements.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates on case progress, answering inquiries, and ensuring excellent client service. Similarly maintaining communication with treatment facilities, Insurers, Counsel, LAT and Court
  • Collaborate with attorneys in gathering evidence, conducting witness interviews, and obtaining medical records and expert reports.
  • Assist in trial/ED preparation, organizing exhibits, scheduling witnesses, and coordinating with court personnel & other counsel.
  • File and serve legal documents in accordance with court rules and procedures.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior law clerks and support staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other legal software.
  • Familiarity with case management software and e-filing systems.
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work independently.
