Shop and Yard Administrator

Powell Foundations is a foundation company specializing in designing, supplying, and installing shoring and foundation systems. Our mission is to provide cost-effective foundation solutions and exceptional service to developers and general contractors in the Ontario market. We focus on heavy civil and infrastructure, primarily associated with road building. We are a dynamic, growing, and fast-paced company that thrives on excellence and customer service.
We are looking for a Shop and Yard Administrator to the team to assist with day-to-day admin duties.
**Main Responsibilities**
- Rent and off-rent the necessary equipment and tooling, provide a PO and maintain the “rental tracker” spreadsheet.
- Complete daily tracking of the company assets.
- Administrate and track company documents i.e. invoices, purchase orders, time sheets, work orders, reports etc.
- Organize and maintain documents on an outgoing basis, ensuring all documents have proper approvals.
- Data entry related to various tasks.
- Filing, faxing, scanning and copying of documents on an ongoing basis
- PO release and verification.
- Multiple source price checking
- Supplier follow-up.
- Hourly employee's pay role daily.
- Other duties as required
**Qualifications**
- 1-3 years of experience in an administrative role.
- Experience in the construction industry is considered an asset.
- Intermediate/advanced competency with various Microsoft Office Suite Projects, including Excel, Microsoft Project, SharePoint and Word.
- Excellent attention to detail
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Thrives in a high-paced environment with multiple competing priorities.
