**Your day-to-day activities will include**:
Provide administrative support to the local management team and employees;
Provide leadership and compliance in site safety processes and objectives;
Prepare and distribute weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting;
Ensure accurate, timely and secure documentation and filing per auditing standards;
Assist with Human Resource administration;
Administer and maintain user and security access;
Coordinate staff recognition programs, communications, events, and supplies;
Procurement and management of office and facilities supplies.
Post secondary education in administration and/or Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent experience;
Minimum two (2) years of relevant administrative experience supporting health & safety activities, and/or general office administration, or human resources environment;
Must have organizational, multi tasking, and time management skills;
Must be visible on an industrial setting, able to conduct Mill audits and daily communication with front line employees;
Ability to lead and positively influence peers;
Working knowledge of Federal H&S Legislation - CLC II and COHSR;
Proficient computer and systems skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook);
Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
Experience working with a unionized work environment is considered an asset.
