The Strategic Account Executive is responsible for handling the most important customer and prospect accounts. You are the go-to lead for some of the world’s largest and most important nonprofit organizations responsible for building and maintaining positive relationships with our customers, prospects, colleagues and partners

As a Strategic Account Executive, you will use your strategic selling and relationship leadership skills to educate prospective customers on the value of Salesforce technology while rapidly growing our market share with our existing customers. You will serve as a trusted advisor, share insights and continually seek opportunities for growth to make your strategic customers as strong and successful as possible. You'll gain cross-functional experience working with multiple internal colleagues: customer success, marketing, product, cross-cloud account executives, solution engineers, industry experts, business development, etc.

You will supply to our business growth in a fast paced, collaborative and fun atmosphere, as a valued member of our Ohana.

**Your Qualifications**:
Salesforce.org is looking for an account executive with 10+ years of experience in a quota carrying role selling sophisticated, cloud solutions.

**We are looking for someone who can**:

- Build account plans for your named accounts to understand key decision makers, org charts, current investment, product utilization and new revenue opportunity
- Understand where the opportunity exists in each account and work closely with extended account team to coordinate a strategy for landing and rapidly growing accounts in the portfolio
- Plan out your activities and meetings to ensure you are passionate about your largest opportunities
- Run a quarterly business review with all your key clients to understand their key initiatives, review product utilization, provide key updates and sell solutions that will address key organization initiatives
- Use Salesforce every day for tracking activities and, most importantly, forecasting

**Across all sales teams, we are looking for the following attributes**:

- 10+ years in quota carrying roles selling enterprise SaaS solutions, CRM platforms, or software product solutions, or complex solutions
- Proven experience running both directly and indirectly through influence and alignment
- Experience working in high-growth, performance focused environments
- Demonstrated ability to develop and complete account strategy plans, structure complex deals, manage multiple strategic partnerships and develop business to support growth
- Proven track record of exceeding quota and sales targets in a high-growth/fast paced environment
- Experience selling, making pitches to and influencing EVPs, c-level customers, board of directors and end-users (in the same sales cycle) in both individual and team sale environments
- Outstanding strategic and analytical and negotiating skills and ability to present complex topics in a way that is simple and easy to understand
- Experience managing large, complex accounts in net new and renewal environment
- Proven success in selling powerful technology
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
