Our head office provides many core administrative and operational services to our sales teams throughout North America, and this position will play a key part in helping to manage, plan and execute business needs, as well as administering our payroll processes in the USA and Canada.

**What you’ll be doing**:
- _Processing Payroll _- Your main tasks will be to process payroll to various user groups (vendors, employees, contract employees, consulting resources we deploy out to our client sites); working within ADP/Vfficient for processing and different payment methods (we use ADP, TelPay, Vensure to name a few) and as well as issuing specific wire transfers (EFT/ACH) and manual cheques. You are also responsible for working with our accountants to ensure that funds are available in specific bank accounts before processing payroll.
- _Payroll Administration_ - This could include tasks such as setting up or terminating vendors/employees/consultants into various systems, setting up employees on our company wide benefits program, working alongside our payroll partners (ADP and Professional Employer Organizations - PEO’s), and dealing with any specific “exceptions” that may arise where action will need to be carried out (i.e providing an off cycle pay).
- _Responding to Payroll Inquiries_ - Aside from paying our users groups, you will often be involved in communicating with our users on various payroll matters. You will be expected to use your exceptional customer service skills to serve our various users while fulfilling the Core Values of our firm.
- _Payroll Reporting_ - You will be accountable to fulfill any and all monthly/quarterly/annual filings and/or remittances. This would include, but not be limited to filing Workers Compensation reports, collecting and distributing W2’s, 1099’s, providing monthly payroll reports to company executives.
- _Benefit Administration_ - You will be responsible for setting up TEEMA Members and external
consultants onto the appropriate benefits plan in both Canada and/or US. This will include terminating people off the plan as directed, working with our benefits broker and partners on
annual renewals among other tasks related to this duty.
**Experience and knowledge you need to have**:
- As an intermediate level payroll specialist, you have solid working experience with payroll systems such as ADP, TelPay, and Vensure
- With more than 3yrs USA payroll experience, you have a solid working knowledge and excellent organizational skills
- You must be able to multi-task and work under pressure with the demands of a thriving, fast-paced, dynamic work environment
- You will work PST Time
- Canadian payroll experience would be an asset
- We are looking for someone with exceptional customer service interpersonal skills - someone always willing to help and go the extra mile.
- Communication skills - someone to explain payroll in simple terms
- Proven teamwork and leadership skills that adapt, problem solve, and follows through with executed decisions
- Administrative skills with careful attention to detail.
**Salary**: $55,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
