**About the Role**
Provides comprehensive administrative support in the internal and external general and confidential communication activities, appointments and executive meetings for the supervisor; drafts and prepares written correspondence and verbal reports and provides recommendations on administrative procedures; prepares information packages/briefing notes/fundraising proposals for the supervisor and the major gifts fundraising team, and senior SFU executives; coordinates staff project reports on behalf of supervisor; coordinates the supervisor's schedule by arranging meeting/appointments with senior level individuals from on/off campus, private organizations, and foundations; updates, merges, traces, and researches records of prospects and donors in complex database using a web-based database donor management system (ECRM); coordinates internal/external approvals process for donor named recognition of internal/exterior spaces, Chairs and Professorships, and Academic Units; collaborates with other program assist to maintain and record departmental staff payroll entry and coordinates ordering of office supplies; coordinates and arranges new fundraiser orientation and training, arranging a variety of supplies and equipment; coordinates social and business events; manages electronic and manual administrative filing systems; coordinates travel arrangements and prepares and reviews expense claims. Provides backup support to the office of the VPAAE.
