**About the Role**

The Program Assistant serves as the primary point of contact for faculty and stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and support. This role is integral to the functioning of the undergraduate programs, providing critical assistance in various areas including TSSU contracts, scheduling, and faculty support. By managing these responsibilities, the Program Assistant plays a vital role in maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of the department.

In addition to these duties, the Program Assistant is responsible for identifying and resolving non-routine issues. This involves interpreting and explaining university policies, procedures, and departmental requirements to ensure compliance and understanding among faculty, students, and stakeholders. The ability to navigate and address these complex issues is essential for the smooth operation of the undergraduate programs.

The Program Assistant’s role offers support that enhances the educational experience for students and facilitates the work of faculty and stakeholders.
