Parts Inventory Specialist

Parts Inventory Specialist is responsible for all duties related to the receiving and putting away of all inbound parts shipments, and the duties related to outbound shipments which include prioritizing, picking, packing, and shipping of parts to our internal and external customers. Furthermore, use our inventory planning software to keep an accurate count and manage Inventory, and perform the necessary clerical duties related to shipping, receiving, and transferring of parts.

**Responsibilities**:

- Receive, count, verify, and compare parts received against packing slip.
- Put away or distribute parts as required.
- Receive and post inbound shipment into inventory system, including updating and reviewing workorders that are waiting for parts
- Notify Supply Chain Manager of backorders and/or discrepancies
- Print pick sheets and/or transfers, organize, pick, pack, and ship outbound parts shipments for customers and service technicians within timeframe required for courier pickups
- Create and post shipments into inventory system
- Track shipments and verify receipt of goods as required
- Pick and ship parts being returned to manufacturer for warranty
- Post shipments as required
- Receive returned parts from customers by logging shipment into spreadsheet, and placing part in designated area
- Receive returned parts from techs; verify condition of part and determine is part is usable or to be scrapped. Inventory as necessary
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area according to policies, procedures and safety regulations.
- Forecast and identify target stock levels for each part.
- Identify re-order points for each product.
- Identify frequently purchased products.

Qualifications.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Shipping and Receiving experience preferred
- Excellent at multitasking and prioritizing
- Excellent communication skills
- Responsible and reliable
- Proficient in excel and Outlook
- Experience with working on courier websites
- Able to work independently or as part of a team
- High attention to detail
- Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills.
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
