Reporting to the Pricing Strategy Team Lead, this position is responsible for using data and analysis to uncover and recommend pricing opportunities. Working closely with the pricing, finance, data driven marketing and marketing teams the pricing manager will be responsible for business case support, compliance management, leading the build of new pricing models, supporting the launch of campaigns & performing post mortem analytics. Success in this role will be measured by delivering on the overall business revenue, developing strong pricing recommendations and strategies.
- KEY RESPONSIBILITIESProduce key business insights and strategic recommendations based on KPI and trend analysis-
- Establish governance around Customer/product profitability and participate in analysis-
- Proactive management of gross margin key parameters-
- Key prime for requesting, defining and prioritising data analytics. Work hand in hand with Marketing, Data/Digital, Business intelligence (reporting) and Revenue Team for proactive insights-
- Manage and optimise the residential pricing sandbox for ON & QC - includes current pricing structures, Rate Increase & new Product Introduction strategies-
- Design and implement a pricing toolkit by channel to support the different marketing activities and programs-
- Recommend new pricing and promotion strategies supported by strong business cases-
- Perform financial evaluation (business case) to assess pricing action and effectiveness-
- Manage E2E pricing launch from proposal, negotiation, approval, implementation, compliance & PIR-
- Report on the performance with action proposal to course correct when needed-
- Propose measure to improve pricing compliance-
- Manage price analysis and resolve discrepancies if any-
- Analyse financial impact on pricing action in view of future forecast, learning and optimisation-
- Track and analyse historical sales trends to determine root cause for better planning-
- Identify the best way to simplify, optimise, position and implement the promotion price strategy-
- Provide feedback and strategy as we develop and execute the quarterly plan to meet deliverables and strategies.-
- Promote self-organisation and team spirit, champions continuous improvement, advocates for the right instead of the easy solution- ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

ACADEMIC TRAINING- University degree in Business, Finance or Marketing-
- MBA degree is considered an assetWORK EXPERIENCE- +8 years relevant experience in a pricing, marketing or program management role where you were involved in executing key strategic marketing and/or pricing initiatives.-
- Pricing experienc within the telecommunications industry is an asset-
- Experience in an analytical function is an asset-
- Advanced PC skills including the ability to work proficiently in Google Office SuiteSPECIFIC COMPETENCIES- Working knowledge of the Canadian Telecommunications industry-
- Solid written and verbal communication skills, experience in presentations and project analysis-
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross functional partners through collaboration and open communication-
- A customer-centric approach to marketing-
- Highly organised, detail oriented and able to multi-task within tight deadlines.-
- A curious mindset to ask the right questions and challenge the status quo, always looking to explore new possibilities.-
- Expertise in building and managing complex pricing strategies-
- Solid understanding of product, sales, business intelligence and research-
- Maintains an optimistic and positive approach to challenges and new opportunities-
