Operator Training Coordinator

Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring an Operator Training Coordinator on a temporary basis (up to 1 year) on our Continuous Improvement team. This position is a hybrid opportunity offering up to one day a week to work from home and is based out of our Co-op Refinery Complex in Regina, SK.

**What you’ll do**:

- Train, lead, mentor, and coach Process Operators in all aspects of training.
- Develop and deliver initial unit orientation and training guide for all units.
- Direct, evaluate, and audit Process Operators in their on-the-job training duties and become a consistent reference person for respective process section.
- Provide feedback to line supervision for performance reviews and approve the operators for advancement in their progression training.
- Collaborate with teams such as learning and development as well as process scheduling coordinators to create training schedules specific to employees.
- Responsible for providing external vendors with the training content that is required for their section and potentially other sections, based on analysis of training needs.

**The Team**:You will work closely with another Operator Training Coordinator and will report into the Operations Training Supervisor. This team strives to cultivate a culture that is organized, action-oriented, and highly motivated.

**Who you are**:
You are looking for a career in Human Resources & Training and:

- Have 6-9 years process operational experience. Preference to oil refinery operational experience.
- Have demonstrated experience with operations training and delivery.
- Have a two-year Diploma. A minimum 4th Class Steam ticket is required. Preference will go to applicants with the highest attainable Steam Ticket required for their Section (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
- Are familiar with Microsoft Office Suite and have demonstrated proficiency in giving presentations and facilitating group discussions.
