Cornerstone Family Violence Prevention Centre (Cornerstone) has an exciting opportunity in which you get to work within the administrative team to ensure a strong, innovative support system is in place for women and children impacted by gender-based violence in Northumberland County.

**What can I expect to do in this role?**
- Administrative, clerical and office management support to the organization
- Executive Director calendar administration and meeting management
- Draft new and update current procedures for various programs
- Assist with the coordination and organization of agency events such as booking location, catering, and preparation of documentation
- Back up data entry: Sage 50 and various other databases
- Compile data and prepare periodic and annual reports
- Maintain board manuals, files, database and tracking functions
- Preparation of board packages, distribution and minuting for board meetings, board committee meetings and the Annual General Meeting
- Back up for Resource Centre Reception
- Back up for payroll
**What do I need for this role?**
- Relevant post-secondary diploma or a combination of relevant training, education, and experience.
- A minimum of 5 years relevant experience in an executive assistant or similar administrative role
- Advanced Microsoft Office 365 experience 1 year (required): Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Able to quickly and accurately produce/edit Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations, database management.
- Experience with Raiser’s Edge would be an asset
- Excellent written, editing, and verbal communication skills
- Highly developed planning and organizational skills with the ability to think proactively, prioritize tasks effectively, and ensure consistent follow-through
- Excellent interpersonal skills to work with co-workers, volunteers, and students in a team model
- High standard of ethics and clear understanding of confidentiality to handle sensitive and/or confidential information with discretion.
- Knowledge and/or work experience in the non-profit or charitable sector an asset
