Ah-so Sushi is looking for sushi chefs and trainee to work in the below locations:
(1) 1500 bank street, inside Farm boy supermarket

(2) 2950 bank street, inside Farm Boy supermarket

(3) 3035 St Joseph Blvd, inside Farm boy supermarket

Must be able to work well in a fast-paced environment;
Basic oral English is required.

Had experience in preparing all types of traditional Japanese style of sushi (maki, nigiri, rice bowls) and in handling with raw fish is asset.

The company provides paid training. You must have a SIN Number (employment card).

Job Duties
- Prepare all types of sushi (maki, nigiri, rice bowls) and sashimi orders.
- Prepare sushi and sashimi orders for groups, parties, banquets and other catering functions
- Maintain a high quality of freshness for sushi and sashimi.
- Estimate expected food consumption, maintain an inventory record of various types of fresh fish and seafood and discuss with management what types of fish are required for re-stocking the store supplies
- Check food preparation and serving areas to ensure observance of safe, sanitary food-handling practices
