Project Play Activity Center is seeking an enthusiastic and creative Play Maker to join our dynamic team. This role is a unique blend of front desk responsibilities and hands-on facilitation of play experiences, making it a key position in creating a welcoming and enjoyable environment for our guests.

**Responsibilities**:
**Front Desk Duties**:

- **Guest Welcoming**: Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.
- **Check-In/Check-Out**: Manage the check-in and check-out process efficiently, providing necessary information and assistance.
- **Customer Service**: Respond to inquiries, provide information about our offerings, and assist with any customer concerns or requests.
- **Reservation Management**: Handle reservations for classes, play sessions, and events.

**Space Maintenance**:

- **Cleanliness**: Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the play space, ensuring a safe and inviting environment.
- **Inventory Management**: Monitor and replenish supplies as needed, keeping an organized inventory of play materials.

**Activity Facilitation**:

- **Story Time Facilitation**: Lead engaging story time sessions for children, incorporating interactive elements to enhance the storytelling experience.
- **Play Sessions**: Facilitate play sessions, guiding children through various activities that encourage creativity, exploration, and social interaction.
- **Event Assistance**: Support in organizing and facilitating special events, birthdays, and themed activities.

**Qualifications**:

- Passion for creating positive and memorable experiences for children and families.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills for managing reservations and check-ins.
- Previous experience in customer service or childcare is a plus.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 40 per week

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)
