Job Description

The Assembly Line Operations Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production line. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, this individual will assist operators in converting paper into school and office products.

Responsibilities

  • Efficiently load and unload products onto pallets (skids) and store them in designated areas;
  • Perform regular quality checks to ensure products meet our high standards;
  • Apply labels to product displays as needed;
  • Lift and stack cartons onto pallets (skids), using a pump truck when necessary;
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment through regular housekeeping duties;
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and targets;
  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • High School diploma required; college or vocational training considered an asset;
  • Able to work afternoon shift with minimal supervision;
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail;
  • Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 35 lbs) and stand for extended periods in a noisy environment;
  • Aptitude testing may be administered to candidates to determine their suitability.
