Victoria, Canada Driftwood Brewing Co Full time

**Overview**:
**Duties**:

- Representing both Driftwood Brewery and Driftwood Spirits in a professional and positive way
- Serving beer and spirits samples while talking about our products with knowledge, passion and confidence
- Acting as a Driftwood ambassador in all interactions with the public
- Work events including farmers markets, beer/spirits festivals, liquor store tastings, golf tournaments, activations at Pacific FC/Starlight Stadium and more
- Prepare for each event by picking up products from the brewery, responsible for setting up and taking down the booth and returning gear in an organized manner
- Merchandising shifts may be requested

**Qualifications**:

- Must have own vehicle. *Will be reimbursed for mileage and expenses on a monthly basis
- Must be able to lift up to 30kg and able to work on your feet outdoors for several hours at a time
- The job will be on a contract basis. You must be able to commit to an agreed upon number of events throughout the event season, including pre-determined evenings and weekends from May through September
- Serving it Right certification must be valid
- Driver’s license must be valid
- Industry experience and/or beer knowledge preferred but not required
- Self-motivated individual. Will work alone for a lot of shifts
- Exceptional customer service skills and generally a positive attitude and excitement for the industry

We offer competitive compensation based on experience. You will be reimbursed for mileage, expenses incured, and your cell phone usage. Must be available evenings/weekends and be able to commit to a range of events for the season
