Community Care City of Kawartha Lakes is seeking a Full Time Home Support Services Coordinator. As an integral part of the Community Support Services Care team, the Home Support Services Coordinator will lead registration and intake for clients in Community Support Services and refer to other community programs based on client need

**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**:

- Works in a rewarding, fast-paced environment, reporting to the Program Manager, Home Support Services**.**:

- Registering clients for service and referring to other Community Care and community programs based on client need.
- Receiving requests for Home Support Services and respond to service requests
- Coordinating and supporting volunteers working in service delivery
- Providing coverage to support successful service delivery
- Completing and documenting all aspects of service in the client database as per standard operating procedures
- Other responsibilities within Home Support Services Coordinator position description

**KEY COMPETENCIES REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION**:

- Post secondary education in Social Services or Human Services or equivalent work experience
- Previous scheduling experience an asset
- Minimum of two years experience working with older adults and with volunteers
- Strong organizational skills and written communications skills
- Excellent computer skills, including data entry
- Demonstrated attention to detail
- Able to prioritize work and meet deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of an effective team
- Food Safety Certificate an asset
- Ability to travel throughout CKL
