Production and Despatch Technician

We are looking for a Production and Despatch Technician to work at our Hamilton based facility, located at Ruakura Campus. The role will be responsible for assisting our Production and Logistics area to run in a smooth & efficient manner.

This is a permanent, full-time role, with working hours between 7 am and 5 pm, Monday to Friday, allowing some flexibility on start and finish times.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Sort samples and split bulk products into smaller sizes.
- Pack sample-sets matched with appropriate documentation for despatching to client laboratories.
- Warehousing and stock management.
- Document preparation and administration tasks.
- Loading boxes, preparing for delivery
- Keeping the work area tidy

**Key requirements**:

- Perfect role for a person that likes to do tasks to a high standard, completes tasks with keen attention to detail and within deadline and is a reliable team player.
- Desire to gain knowledge and develop skills to improve work performance.
- Keen attitude, initiative, and ability to keep working productively when unsupervised is essential.
- Must be capable of doing physical duties, including lifting boxes of up to 14 kgs.
- Friendly person with strong English verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of laboratory testing and sample preparation and GMP would be ideal, but not essencial.
