Automation and Robotics Technician

**_About the Automation Technician role_**
- An Automation Technician is responsible for designing, installing, maintaining, and repairing automated equipment used in industrial and manufacturing settings. They work with robotic equipment, programmable logic controllers, and other automated systems to ensure efficient operation. Automation Technicians must possess a good understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, as well as a strong knowledge of relevant safety protocols._
**_ Role Purpose_**
- The purpose of an Automation Technician is to install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair automated systems and equipment used in production and manufacturing. They use a variety of tools and techniques to ensure that machines are operating efficiently and safely. Automation Technicians are also responsible for creating preventative maintenance schedules, testing systems to ensure they are operating correctly, and performing repairs when necessary._
