Mabel’s Labels is looking for a _**Product & Pre-Press Technician **_to join our team Under the supervision of the Product Manager, the Product & Pre-Press Technician willwork on the technical implementation and set-up of new skus, products, designs, and materials, will work closely with Production and Customer Service on product fixes and improvements, engage in technical implementation of digital product content along with the set-up of new products in our ecommerce platforms, and finally support with product performance analysis and reporting, and research and development.

To succeed in this position, you will need to be energic with a positive attitude, highly organized, detail oriented, and self-starting problem solver, eager and ready to take on multiple and varied fast-paced priorities. If you check these boxes, then we want to talk with you

**Responsibilities**:

- Support Product Designer/Product Team with the back-end development and set-up of new skus, products, designs, and materials in e-commerce platform
- Work with Information Technology Team/Quality Assurance, Production, and Product Team to review new product development work and help to identify problems and solutions within
- Lead the response, analysis and execution of Customer Service and Production product fixes and improvements (spreadsheet, JIRA, crisis response team, JIGs)
- Support JIG development in Production
- New product page creation in e-commerce platform (staging and production) (settings, content)
- Support Product Manager as required by making other changes to product-related content and settings in e-commerce platform
- Implement new products and changes to existing products on Amazon
- Assist Product Designer with facilitating the production and delivery of prototypes and samples
- Support Product Manager with new product and new material research and testing activities, support existing product and material testing as part of product improvement work
- Support Product Manager with monthly and quarterly product reporting as required

**Requirements**:

- Degree or Diploma in print technology, or equivalent combination of education, skills, and experience
- Strong pre-press and print production skills/knowledge
- Experience with laser engraving, UV printing, and vinyl printing equipment and processes would be an asset
- Ability to independently analyze and troubleshoot issues, identify discrepancies and inconsistencies, and recommend a course of corrective action
- Knowledge/understanding of HTML, CSS, and SQL would be an asset
- Experience using Adobe Creative Suite is required (experience with Magento, JIRA, and MySQL beneficial but not essential)
- Ability to work on multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented work environment
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Keen attention to detail
- Self-motivated and capable of working collaboratively and/or independently with cross functional teams.
