Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Junior Project Manager. As a Junior Project Manager, you will work directly with and report to a Senior Project Manager for various different tasks and rolls. This is a long term career opportunity where you will learn all aspects of the mechanical industry.

**Duties**:

- Create material lists from mechanical plans for all aspects of the project which will then be tendered and compared for accuracy, price, timeline, ordering and scheduling
- Assist in the process of submittal generation and approval/project completion turnover information
- Be involved with project activities and resources to ensure timely, safe completion
- Monitor project progress and identify and solve any issues or risks that may arise
- Be part of project meetings and scheduling throughout the duration of the project
- Support owner, senior project manager, site foreman and all team members in all aspects of the project. Mentor, guide and teach best practices on the jobsite

Qualifications:

- Journeymen plumber/gas fitter with a strong knowledge of codes and materials
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Very strong attention to detail and perception
- Proficiency in computers, excel, word, PDF creator editor
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of sheet metal is a plus
- Strong time management skills with the ability to separate work life to home life issues as they arise
- Experience leading people is important

Quicksilver Mechanical is a quickly growing plumbing/gas fitting and HVAC company who specializes in multi family apartments. In this role you will work in an office trailer onsite of our largest project but wont necessarily always be there. In this role you will be expected to have consistant attendance with a passion for the trade and the ability to focus and concentrate on generating material lists from project mechanical, architectural and other scopes plans. You must have the ability to multi task on various different tasks while being able to prioritize and adjust as issues arise. We wont expect you to know everything but we will expect you to take this role seriously and learn quickly while taking direction. We are looking for a person with a good attitude who can work with different personalities and timelines who will be commited to hold this position and advance within the company. **Salary**: $80,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
