Reporting to the Manager, Human Resources Operations, the Human Resources Administrator is responsible for the provision of administrative and recruitment support to the Human Resources Operations team and the HR department.

Your responsibilities:

- Post all internal and external job postings on various websites and creates job posting competition folders.
- Provide general information and direction to external and internal inquiries and administers the HR General Inquiries mailbox.
- Prepares monthly and quarterly recruitment reports.
- Administers security clearances for all new hires and promotions as required and tracks completed security clearances.
- Administers internal Corporate Directory.
- Maintains the HR filing including purging files annually and recording in RecFind.
- Prepares employment verification letters as needed.
- Run various reports from Workday as needed.
- Purchase all office, kitchen and bathroom supplies for the department as required.
- Ability to troubleshoot photocopiers and printers.
- Delivers and sorts mail daily as per mail delivery schedule.
- Prepares employee expense reimbursements.
- Process invoicing for the department as required.
- Acts as a backup to HR Coordinators and the Director’s HR Assistant.
- Participates on projects and provides other administrative assistance as required.

Your experience and skills:

- 1 - 3 years of related administrative experience in Human Resources, supplemented with post-secondary education or courses in Human Resources is preferred.
- Working towards a Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation is an asset.
- Experience in dealing with the public, handling inquires and working in a deadline-oriented environment is essential.
- Team player with a strong customer service focus.
- Must be organized and able to recognize priorities while handling multiple tasks and responsibilities in a very fast paced environment; attention to detail is integral to success in this position.
- Strong interpersonal skills with sound written and verbal communication.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Lotus Notes is required.
- Experience in using an applicant tracking system and Workday would be an asset.
- Ability to deal with and hold confidential information and records with trust and confidence.
