**Position Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Process cheque payments sent to the lockbox and scan physical cheques sent to the head office, ensuring timely deposit to the bank.
- Ensure adequate record of cheque copies to enable reconciliation of customer payment records.
- Process credit card payments.
- Responsible for allocating wires and direct deposits (EFT and ACH) to customers’ invoices.
- Investigate and process any refunds to clients for overpayments or duplicated payments.
- Process non-sufficient funds (NSF) transactions and related documentation.
- Reconcile deposit clearing accounts for cheques, credit cards and direct deposits.
- Prepare journal entries for credit card and bank fees.
- Respond to payment enquiries from customers and colleagues.
- Prepare monthly journal entries, including small balance write-offs.
- Identify and recommend process improvement opportunities.
- Provide assistance/backup support to others in the Finance Department as required.
- Other special projects as required.

**Required Skills/Experience**:

- Post-secondary Diploma/Degree (Accounting/Business/Finance focus preferred).
- Strong customer service disposition.
- Ability to work independently and contribute to broader team objectives.
- Ability to multitask and manage time amid multiple deadlines.
- Very good organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word and Outlook).
- Prior experience with relevant accounting software, specifically NetSuite, is an advantage.

$51,000 - $58,000 a year
- At PointClickCare, base salary is one of the many components that make up our total rewards package. The Canada base salary range for this position is $51,000 - $58,000. Our salary ranges are determined by job and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the target for new hire salaries for the position across all Canada locations. Within the range, individual compensation is determined by job-related skills and knowledge, relevant experience including professional and lived experience, and/or work location.
