**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Volunteer Recruitment and Coordination**: Lead efforts to recruit, train, and engage volunteers in alignment with the organization’s needs and values.
- **Donor and Sponsor Recruitment**: Maintain and enhance relationships with existing donors and sponsors for operational events, while also identifying and engaging potential new supporters. Manage donor databases and ensure smooth operation of donation processing and acknowledgment.
- **Community Partnerships**: Build and maintain strong relationships with community organizations, businesses, and other stakeholders to promote L’Arche Sudbury’s operational mission and enhance collaborative opportunities for operational based events.
- **Event Assistance**: Provide support in the planning and execution of L’Arche Sudbury’s operational events, contributing to their success and ensuring alignment with our community’s values and objectives.
- **Social Media Support**: Assist in creating L’Arche Sudbury’s social media content, contributing to engage our community and promote our activities.
- **Administration**: Assist with administrative tasks such as mailings, filing, and general upkeep of the development office. Attend meetings as required
- Board meetings, AGM, Development workshops, etc.
- **Other duties as assigned by the Development Leader, Community Leader or designate**

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Degree or diploma from an accredited college or university.
- Demonstrated experience in volunteer coordination, donor/sponsor relations, or community partnership management.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a knack for building and maintaining relationships.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to articulate and live the mission of L’Arche, embracing our community values and commitment to inclusivity.
- Organized, self-motivated, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as required.

**Desired Qualities**:

- Comfortable interacting with people with intellectual disabilities.
- Strategic thinker, enthusiastic about bringing fresh ideas and a proactive approach to the role.
- Valid G driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
- French language skills are considered an asset.

- Annual salary $54,766.40
